How about a FACE LIFT with Sirshasan?

Woman and her desire to look beautiful have been in existence since the history of time. That is, perhaps, the reason for the immense growth of the beauty industry. Incessant struggle of a woman to look fresh, glowing and rejuvenated is the foremost reason for this.

Among the most popular of the beauty practices is facial. Facial brings glow to your face. How? – By massaging facial muscles which increases the blood flow in that area. This is, however, passive (done by other), expensive and requires a trained professional or else the repercussion could prove to be disastrous. How about going natural way?

Sirshasan can give you a FACE LIFT

Picture1An absolutely free, natural, active, long lasting way of getting all the above benefits is by performing Sirshasan regularly as Sirshasana brings abundance blood flow to your face. Not only that, the facial muscles have an earthbound orientation due to gravity. Apart from lying down on the floor, our face is in downward fall during our waking hours. As a result of that, the blood flow, the muscle tone, the skin has a downward propensity, constantly keeping the skin in a hanging down mode.

Sirshasan inverts you, thereby, gears up the reversing process

  • It gives your face a facelift by hanging it in the opposite direction.
  • The positioning of the posture brings abundant blood flow with a deeper reach to the cells, which is not possible in normal standing position. This helps the cells get nutrient rich blood and perform at the optimal level.
  • Increased blood flow in the facial region activates facial muscles and automatically tightens them.

Final OUTCOME

A wrinkle free, younger looking, toned up face

And

All these absolutely FREE

Sirshasana, called the KING of asanas encompasses, in its practice, multi-faceted benefits on physiological, mental and spiritual level, apart from, the tiny aforementioned physical benefits.

So, what if you cannot perform Sirshasan?

Do not get dejected if you cannot perform Sirshasan independently. You can perform half – Sirshasan and reap the same benefits.  You can also perform Sirshasan against the wall. If any of these still seem like a daunting task, perform any inversion or semi inversion posture.

‘Inversion’ is reversal of a particular condition, form or order.  In this case, it is reversal of position. In normal position, our feet are on the floor. In this position, feet must be in the air. However, if you perform semi-inversion, the feet will remain on the floor but the upper part of the body will be downwards. Hence, performing Adho Mukha Svasana, Uttanasana, Prasarita Padasana or even Sarvangasana will bring almost the same glow to the face as Sirshasan.

Internal beauty should be flawless and maintenance free. It should come naturally from within. Our traditional practices have the characteristics of keeping us young forever. So make this evergreen practice a way of life than taking a short- term route i.e. visiting a beauty parlor.
