I have been receiving many requests to release blogs or suggest practices to counter the ongoing threatening epidemic ‘Corona Virus’, which has brought the World to a standstill.
How would it evolve in few days? – we do not know.
What we know, however, is that a strong Immunity can help protect us from this life-threatening epidemic. I would suggest inclusion of the below mentioned practices and nutritional intakes to boost your immunity so that it can fight the virus and emerge a winner.
1) Detoxifying your body and organs by generating HEAT
As assumed that Corona Virus cannot survive or thrive in ‘Heat’, Suryabhedan pranayama is one of the best practices to generate heat as well as eliminate the toxins from your body. A 3-4 minute practice 4 times a day would show amazing results.
2) Balancing Surya & Chandra Nadi
Nadi Shodhan Kriya is one such purifying practices which cleanses the nadis, the imaginary pathways of our prana, thereby, balancing the Surya and the Chandra Nadi appropriately, thus, resulting in boosting our Immune System. A 10-minute practice a day should do wonders.
3) Spicing up your Immunity with ‘Curcumin’
Scholarly papers in the Nutrition World are flooded with information about the protective characteristics of curcumin which is found in turmeric. Drink warm water mixed with half a tea spoon of organic turmeric power with a pinch of ground black pepper every night before sleep.
4) Consume Gooseberry to enhance Immunity
Indian Gooseberry or Amla is one of the most researched fruit and is known for its protective persona. There are multiple ways of taking it (2-3 a day for sure). You could eat it raw, boil it and consume both the fruit as well as the water or juice it up. Choose one method you prefer the most and make it an integral part of your nutritional intake as a therapeutic potential against this harmful ailment.
We may not be able to control the external factors connected with Coronavirus but we can definitely control it from entering our lives by following these simple practices.
Disclaimer: These practices are suggested based on the current recommendations to fight the Corona Virus. Irrespective of the fact whether these suggestions remain intact or change tomorrow, inclusion of these practices in your daily regime is not going to do you any harm.
