Understanding the engagement of BACK.
The word ‘Back’ for some reason, brings the understanding of ‘Lower back’ to many and when we do back bend practices, that’s their only focus area.
Back or spinal area, casually speaking, starts from the top vertebrae which is approximately just below your head to the tail bone and there are practices to open up those areas from different angles, thereby, working on those area in a wholesome manner (those are also the areas of stress and toxin accumulation).
This video has detailed practice on ‘Ushtrashana’ – camel pose. You will need to practice this to get in touch of the muscles you did not even realize existed.
