The fear of toppling over, need not hold you back from performing the much coveted Sirshasana. Falling while doing Sirshasana is an art that can be learned systematically.
Most of the novice yoga practitioners find it extremely difficult to perform Sirshasana not because of physicality issues but because they have a psychological block. This block is further reinforced by the fear of falling over.
There is no denying that this is a genuine concern, as an uncontrolled fall might lead to serious injuries. But, if this “fall” can be controlled and regulated, then you gain the reigning ability over this asana. Through this video, I will be attempting to teach you the correct techniques of falling. Once you gain control over the fall, you would also gain the confidence, both physical and mental, to optimally the king of asanas.
Fall – but fall gracefully to stand even taller thereafter………
